ESP32-GATEWAY OLIMEX Ethernet crash

I'm using the ESP32-GATEWAY from OLIMEX, building on Windows 10 with local docker build for ESP32.

I started my project by cloning the demo-js github repo. I added the following to mos.yml:

config_schema:
  - ["eth.enable", true]
libs:
  - origin: https://github.com/mongoose-os-libs/ethernet

I tried doing a --clean build with mos release and mos latest, and it just crashes on startup in a loop. I also tried deleting the build and deps directories and doing a clean compile.

Any suggestions?

Comments

  • Same result with cloud build (non-local).

  • I also tried on a different ESP32-GATEWAY board. Same result. :'(

The following should work on ESP-POE:

    mos flash esp32
    mos config-set eth.phy_pwr_gpio=12 eth.enable=true eth.clk_mode=3 board.led1.pin=-1 board.btn1.pin=-1
