Hello I just attempted to install Mongoose (I am a first time user).

    False positive.
Add the directory where you save mos.exe to the exceptions list of you antivirus.

  • Thanks, but I'll pass.

Afraid I agree with howardlong. There is no way of knowing if this is a false positive, or if someone has altered the mos.exe file on the download site.

    This needs to be fixed.

Got the same here. Is this already fixed?

    False positive.

I am stuck on MOS V1.26

I attempted to update to version 2.2, but Windows 10 identified it has a virus and promptly deleted the downloaded file.

I am reluctant to add it, to a list of exceptions.

Is there really no solution to this?

There are no viruses in the mos tool. Solutions are: either fix you antivirus, or build the tool yourself: it is open source.
